Happy Pride Month!
Pride month everyone! woot! I can't believe how out of control pride has gotten since I was in high school when it was just the LGB community looking to educate people and be accepted, not persecuted, for who they loved. Now not only is it who you're attracted to, but incorporates every identity facet of a person's life. Their Sex, Race, Who you like, Who you want to be (or not be) We should be proud of how far we've come. It's been a long journey from, "It shouldn't matter who a person loves, say out of people's bedrooms!", to get to, "Wax my feminine cock and balls bigot! I have a underage nude pool party to attend." (source: Jessica Yaniv, a Canadian transgender activist). Seriously though, we are headed in the wrong direction. A person should not be broken down into the smallest identity unit they can be and defined by their race, sex, gender, sexual orientation and what they do in their bedroom for sexual entertainment. Human beings are so much more that that. The LGBT community should not let deviants define the face of their movement, as has become the custom in the last decade. Loving someone is one thing. You can't help who you like anymore than you can help what your favourite colour is. Letting an 8 year old girl drag a person dressed as a dog in bondage gear around on a leash or adult men throwing money at a 12 year old boy in stripper drag while twerking around for attention is an entirely different thing altogether.
