DnD Weapon - Chakram Launcher

Cost: 400gp*, includes one chakram (50gp) Damage: 1d10 slashing + 1d6 bludgeoning Weight: 20 lbs Properties: Ammunition (range 100/400), heavy, loading, two-handed, STR (13+) The Chakram Launcher is a modified Heavy Crossbow, which launches a thin, spinning blade forward. The ammunition is a sword edge, curved into a circle and mounted into a sled in the launcher. Chakram Launchers require great skill to craft. To use the Chakram Launcher, load the blade and crank the bowstring tight with the crannequin. Pull the trigger to release the tension in the string and the sled will travel down the track, carrying the blade with it. As the sled travels down the track, a rack running the length of the chassis drives a gear to spin the blade. Once the sled reaches the end of track and hits the stop, the blade harness pops open and the blade is released. Damage is both slashing and bludgeoning due to the blade’s spinning motion and weight of the blade. Readying the Chakram Launcher to shoot requires two hands and a full round to load and crank. Users must have a strength score of 13 or greater to operate the launcher, and users with a strength score of 15 or greater may also fire the launcher in the same round it was readied
