The article, and the topic, would be more suited to the 1970's movie "Killdozer" which had an alien entity inhabit and take over a bulldozer, rather than Marvin Heemeyer's "Killdozer". Regardless, our increasing dependence on technology and also our drive to automate as much of it as possible IS going to come back and bite our backsides eventually in one way or another. https://interestingengineering.com/could-software-bugs-lead-to-a-repeat-of-the-killdozer

Fantastic Findings: German Study Shows Added CO2 Has Led To 14% More Vegetation Over Past 100 Years! And yet the Climate Cult would have us believe that CO2 is something bad. But then again, science and religion never did mix well. https://notrickszone.com/2021/05/07/fantastic-findings-german-study-shows-added-co2-has-led-to-14-more-vegetation-over-past-100-years/

I am not one to quote scripture. Which ever imaginary sky friend you're happy with is fine with me, unless of course your sky friend tells you to lop off my head. Then we have a problem. But I digress. . . . There are moments where a bit of philosophy pulled from the great thinkers, or a quote from someone who impacted or even made history is appropriate. In this instance there is a passage from the bible that seems best suited. (mind you it's not an exact quote) Matthew 10:36 "And a man’s enemies shall be those of his own house." Does it occur to anyone that the most treacherous enemies we face currently are our own fellow citizens? We've got BLM, ANTIFA, radicalized bureaucrats, interest groups of all persuasions including representation from each of the fifty some odd genders, politicians who represent themselves more than their constituents, cops more worried about their paychecks rather than their Oaths, political parties motivated by power, and on and on. But the one thing they all have in common is that they are ALL our fellow Americans. Members of our own house so to say. How did so many of our own citizens come to be influenced by forces who wish to destroy our country? Have they been tempted with promises of whatever it is they feel is most important to them? I don't know. But if this is indeed part of why they have turned against us and our shared country and values then perhaps we need to figure out why they no longer share those values. Did we as parents fail to instill those values in our children who have now reached adulthood? Did our school systems fail to teach our history and why those values are cherished and enshrined in our Constitution and Bill of Rights? Is it ultimately our own fault? Okay, say it is. What do we do about it? How do we fix it? Can we fix it? What do we do with those enemies who are of our own house? Or are we doomed to fulfill, as a figure from history once said, "A house divided against itself cannot stand." We need an answer but what that answer is I do not know.
