Although the headline says 'Bitcoin Bounces Back...' the first line of the story says: 'Bitcoin STARTED to bounce back from a three month low Monday morning...' [emphasis mine] As I said before, people should always be skeptical of any reporting on cryptocurrencies because there's most likely going to be conflicts of interest involved with those reporting and what's actually happening. Even when I post things such as this, I'm fully aware that I'm invested in cryptocurrencies so I have a natural inclination to want them to do well. (So as everyone always says: I'm not a financial adviser. Don't take my advice. These are just my opinions.) That being said: I find it ridiculous that Bitcoin would fall so much based upon nothing but Elon Musk's opinon -- which is not based upon reality, but upon myths about energy consumption in regards to mining. It's highly likely that people like Musk are merely trying to drive down the price of Bitcoin so that they can buy it up for much cheaper. Don't be stampeded into following people like Musk, but use your own brain to work everything out. https://www.forbes.com/sites/roberthart/2021/05/17/bitcoin-bounces-back-from-three-month-low-as-elon-musk-denies-tesla-has-sold-its-crypto-assets
