The Church in Scotland is currently reviewing a plan to stop declaring a husband & wife, a husband & wife in wedding ceremonies. In fact, they're looking to kill all references to the terms Husband & Wife. Under this new plan, a marriage ceremony would end declaring "The Parties" to be married.
