I'm a 1990 guy... which, on this graph, is about $3.5 Trillion. Now it's >$29 Trillion (in a previous post of mine, I linked a video showing that we've pledged/spent another $19.5 Trillion that hasn't hit the books yet). That means that, in terms of time, the last 30 years that I've been around has been about 14.5% of the USA's existence. With the debt increasing from about $3.5 Trillion to $29 Trillion, that's a little over 8 1/4 times more debt in 14.5% of the time, ... or (if my math is right) 57.2 times faster spending over 30 years than over the previous 215! That's nuts! But wait! There's more! For an additional one-year "low" payment of only $19.5 ... Trillion ... (likely hidden for now in Unfunded Liabilities), that eventually rockets up to $48.5 Trillion, or 13.86 times the debt in 14.5% of the time, ... or nearly 95.7 times the spending rate over the 30-year period, than over the previous 215! Nearly 96 times! What is wrong with "US" that this can't be stopped? How has this country not gone into a full-on revolutionary war version civil war over this? (Disclaimer: this spending rate is actually grossly UNDERstated... as the $147.9 Trillion of Unfunded Liabilities isn't factored in, and neither is the ~$3.3 Trillion in State/Local Debt and their respective Unfunded Liabilities.) Ladies and Gentlemen, the ship U.S.S. United States of America has struck an iceberg, the front compartments have flooded, the stern is out-of-water, and I think I still hear the band playing. I would be surprised if it manages to avoid splitting in two before it sinks. That said, we can't give up fighting the flooding... even, dare I say it, if we have to forcibly remove those deliberately scuttling other compartments. We have saboteurs with us, and they must be held accountable. In my opinion, when this "bubble" bursts, it will make the Great Depression look like a firecracker next to the former USSR's Tsar Bomba nuclear bomb. I mean that seriously, look how tiny the debt jump was for WWII in the middle of the graph in the 1940s! It looks positively adorable by comparison!

To keep the economic house of cards from collapsing, the government must spend/borrow more money with each passing year. It’s no coincidence that the government has suddenly begun to roll out one massive spending package after another in order to keep this Ponzi scheme from unraveling...

I have no words... We have added roughly $19.5 Trillion in debt spending (just in 2020-2021), whereas the ENTIRE existence of the USA beforehand amounted to about $28 Trillion! We are approaching DOUBLE in ONE Year! (It hasn't been actualized and spent yet [added to the usdebtclock.org number], but it's been allocated and borrowed already... see video) Where is the money going? I was always taught: "if you want to know why something is happening... follow the money." Ok, where did $19 Trillion in one year just get stolen off-too? P.S. That $19.5 Trillion, divided by 330 million Citizens (including elderly and children) is just over $59,000 spent by the USA Federal Government JUST LAST YEAR. That $2,000 Covid-stimulus many people got? Guess what, the government put you in $57,000 More debt than the $2,000 you received. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3Hmzf0FtSk
