I'm getting seriously fed up with everything. I'm sure most of you are experiencing similar unless you're in a state that isn't insane and has opened up. Ontario has gone insane. There are people who disagree but can be persuaded with evidence, and there are people who won't even look at evidence. Normally I don't bother arguing too much with people on Twitter or Facebook, because most people on there fall into the second category, but when it comes to friend or family, I do, because I care about my friends and family. I've had to admit to myself in recent weeks, my family are sheep. It's funny - those who believe the government all still have cable/satellite television and watch the news. Those of us who don't believe any of it got rid of cable years ago. Funny how that works. This is going to be a long rant, so bear with me. First, the vaccine. I'm not anti-vax, I have had the majority of vaccines, because I understand how they work and they have been tested ad nauseum before they ever get near my arm. The doctor can tell me exactly what the short term and long term side effects are likely to be, what types of complications are possible, and if there are any complications with any medications I'm on for various stuff wrong with me. I'm not telling anyone not to get this vaccine, I just want people to make an informed decision, not one based on fear, coercion, and half-truths. That isn't the case here. The best they can say is what the efficacy and side effects will be in the short term - testing only started last fall. They can't say anything about anything past that because there is simply no data. Thing is, informed consent is required for any medical treatment, especially an experimental one, so they have to be up front with patients and tell them all of this. They have to tell patients that this vaccine is experimental, that it will not finish the phase 3 tests until 2023, and that it is likely to be a while after that still before it is officially approved. In Ontario, they aren't saying any of this unless asked. Worse still is that the government is ignoring manufacturer's recommendations on who to vaccinate and the period between the first and second vaccinations. They also don't tell you that the manufacturers are not liable for damages - which is understandable, given the government pressured them to release the vaccine early. It's worse than that here though. Doctors, health officials and government officials are also immune from lawsuits for malpractice, death or injury due to recommending the vaccine. The refusal to hold anyone accountable should set alarm bells ringing for everyone. What they ARE doing here is a whole lot of lying, a whole lot of fear mongering and a whole lot of ignoring the data. The government is following models that have not once been remotely accurate in any way, shape or form. Even meteorologists would be fired for being that wrong, that many times. They're pushing hysteria. Cases, cases, cases. Of course they don't tell you how many of those cases are actually sick and how many are asymptomatic. What they're not saying in their daily dose of fear is that daily cases have been lower each day for a week, and the overall case total is dropping - more people are being reported as recovered than new cases recorded. Hospitals, which they say are overwhelmed - are at a lower percentage of capacity than in any of the last ten years. ICU are at about 80% capacity, normal is well over 90%. Yet they have cancelled all non-emergency surgeries and treatments. Doctors appointments are on hold. And yet, over the past week, daily hospitalizations are decreasing, and overall hospitalizations are down. ICUs are about a week behind this, but the total in ICU has begun to decline as well now. Daily death numbers are significantly lower than this time last year. And some have found that they are including people who tested positive weeks ago - some even as far back as last year - in those current daily totals. But they don't mention any of this because if people aren't terrified, they will think about whether they want to get vaccinated and might not make the choice the government wants them to make. Everyone needs to be in a constant state of panic. They're pushing deadly variants. Excuse my rusty biology, but wouldn't successful variants statistically be expected to be more infectious but less deadly? If the host dies, spread stops, so an extremely deadly mutation would die off very quickly, but a less deadly variant would spread more easily. Given the lower percentage of deaths this year over last, that would seem to be the case. They're pushing that younger people are dying from covid. This is sort of true, given that people in their 60s and 70s ARE younger than people in their 80s, but they're trying to present this as kids and young people dying. This is simply untrue. There have been 3 deaths of people under 19 in Ontario, and one of those is unconfirmed. Yet the media is presenting it as though it was. The girl, 13, died because her parents didn't take her to hospital because the media said the hospitals were full. She had not tested positive for covid. The best they can honestly say without an autopsy is that she died of pneumonia like symptoms. But of course that's not what they're saying. Now I'm seeing stories from the media that covid is airborne. Last year they were saying it wasn't, that it was carried by droplets of saliva. Which is it? If it's the second, then masks may have worked if used correctly - sterilized or disposed of after each use, in conjunction with hand washing or sanitizing. But that wasn't what happened. Masks worn and re-worn over and over, on, off, on, off, no handwashing in between so all germs on the mask are now transferred to hands, and then to everything touched. Spread would have been less had we stuck to washing our hands instead of masking to be honest. If airborne, then masks are useless because the virus is smaller than the weave of the masks and so it would pass through easily. Which one is it? All of this is a show to push fear. Fear makes people do irrational things, and we can't have people thinking about things too much, now can we? Otherwise sane people would never agree to things like vaccine passports. We were told last year this was a conspiracy theory, but it would appear to be certain now as the government is in negotiation with other countries regarding them. Let me say I'm not against a country requiring vaccination to visit. It's their country, not mine, I have no right to enter it without their permission. Period. I'm okay with that, and I realize that I probably won't be able to travel overseas anymore if I choose not to get this vaccine. While it makes me sad, I'll live. What concerns me more is the slippery slope. This is not just being discussed for international travel, but for interprovincial and intercity travel, large gatherings, entry to stores and restaurants, and even for admittance to health care facilities. There is so much illegal about all of this that my head is spinning thinking about it. First, the very idea of it is coercion to take an experimental treatment, which not only violates Canadian and Ontario law, but international law. It is also a huge violation of privacy - no one has a right to know your medical history. Even schools have exemptions for vaccination on religious or philosophical grounds. And finally denying health care? We have public health care in Ontario, and private care is not available. If they're going to deny healthcare, yet still tax people for it, I guarantee there will be riots. And I'll believe this is about public health when they decline entry to people who haven't been vaccinated for Polio, which is much more deadly. Of course by this point, sane people know this isn't about public health. Those interested in public health would be speaking about getting fresh air, exercise, a healthy diet, and social interaction to promote mental health. Those interested in public health would be using the millions doses of Invermectin, which are sitting untouched in storage, to treat covid cases. They would be testing hydroxychloroquine to see if the hype was real instead of dismissing it out of hand. Of course treatments that work make vaccination compliance less likely, don't they. If you think the public health officials and government officers actually believe their own rhetoric or are in any way concerned with dying of covid, you only have to look at their own behaviour time and time again. They flout the restrictions they place on you. Someone terrified of getting or spreading covid wouldn't have dinner parties, fly off on vacation while forcing us to stay at home or face fines for leaving the house for non essential reasons. From day one, the government fuck ups have been astounding. What should have been done? It's actually pretty simple, and I've been saying this for over a year. 1. No international travel from Covid hotspots. Last February and March when we called for this, we were called racists, and told the risk to Canadians was very low. Yes, really - our Health Czar, Teresa Tam literally said that. They announced restrictions on international travel a few weeks later, but they only announced it - they didn't restrict anything. Flights continued to arrive daily from all over the world. Even now, while they speak about restricting flights from India, if you check Pearson international in Toronto, they are still arriving daily. 2. Designate covid only hospitals. All covid cases directed there, all non-covid patients moved to other hospitals. No staff can transfer between the covid and non covid hospitals. Increase ICU capacity in these hospitals. Given that a huge amount of spread has happened in medical facilities, isolating certain facilities for treating only covid patients would have made sense, and would not have caused as much disruption to other medical services. 3. Lock down long term care homes. Patients testing positive moved to covid hospitals. I'd even go so far as to isolate staff. What they did was similar to Cuomo, they kept positive patients not only in LTC facilities, but did not isolate them from other patients, and they allowed staff to work at multiple facilities, which led to a rapid spread from nursing home to nursing home. The atrocities that happened I won't go into in detail here, but one home in Quebec, the employees abandoned the facility. When it was discovered... well you can imagine. It has also come out that in some facilities, they locked patients in their rooms and removed door handles. It's disgusting. I've had friends suggest it's because we have an aging population and a pension shortage. I shudder to think they could be that evil, but I don't really doubt it. 4. Test and isolate those showing symptoms. Testing of those without symptoms is ridiculous. And follow the fucking manufacturer's instructions for how the tests should be processed. Everyone else... carry on as normal, like Sweden did. Had we done that, we'd largely be over all of it by now. You have to ask yourself, what I suggested above just seems like common sense, right? So why didn't that happen? That brings me to the great reset. I'm sure most people are already aware of it, so I won't go into great detail about it, but essentially, the billionaires of the world want to create a new world where they own everything, you own nothing, and you have to follow their orders because they know what's best for you. I used to think Alex Jones was a nutcase. Funny, but a nutcase. But at this point I'd have to be a conspiracy theorist to deny this plan exists and is happening. The other day I was arguing with a woman on Twitter who blocked me. She kept saying to people the great reset was a conspiracy theory. People, myself included, kept presenting her with evidence of it - videos made by WEF, videos of world leaders talking about it, I even sent her a link to the prime minister's office website, minutes of a meeting between Trudeau and Prince Charles, discussing the implementation of the great reset, dated June 2020. If this is a conspiracy, then the governments are the ones propagating it. Last fall, a document was circulating that was claimed to be from a government worker, that detailed the plan for Canada. I have never been able to verify it's authenticity, but so far, it has been correct. On every point. (screenshot attached) When I first saw it I was in disbelief, because it did seem far fetched. @DaveCullen did a video about it, which was my introduction to it. As time goes on, I can't be so sure. Phase 2 lockdowns began in October last year, starting in Toronto and fluctuating in restrictions from region to region. Rush acquisition or construction of isolation facilities across every province and territory. This was advertised on the government's website last summer and fall. It went into effect in February. I'm sure you know of our Quarantine hotels. Daily new cases etc... the province has this thing they do. When they want to report lots of new cases, they up the cycle threshold on PCR testing. They have been doing this fairly regularly. They've now removed this information from the public facing pages of the website, but if you checked the site, one week the guidance would say 30, the following week - when numbers began to skyrocket, it would say 35. Complete and total secondary lockdown - started December 26 and lasted six weeks. Reform and expansion of the unemployment program - CERB was phased out and merged with unemployment in fall last year I believe? UBI was added to the Liberals platform last month and the legislation is being drafted. Project Covid mutations - well you guys already know this one, every country is talking about it. While they're pushing medical facilities being overwhelmed, the numbers don't bear this out. 3rd lockdown - started April 2nd I think in Ontario. Just in time for Easter. Projected supply chain break downs - obviously cannot confirm this yet, but I'm already seeing media stories about meat shortages, and I can attest to shortages of computer parts. Next on the list - deployment of military into metropolitan areas. This started last week, they made a big deal of bringing a few of them into Toronto despite the fact that numbers were already dropping. And then you read further. I'm not saying it's real or true, but at this point my skepticism is less than it was six months ago. Add to this the banning of over 1500 different firearms by the government last spring because of a mass killing in Nova Scotia. I say killing not shooting because most of the victims were not shot. And not a word on this case in months and months. And now Bill C10, which gives the CRTC the right to censor individual citizen created content online. Can't have people pointing out what's going on or criticizing the government's ineptitude, now can we. Each thing independantly you could put down to incompetence. All together? I struggle to think of a word other than evil. I don't want to believe it, but it's getting harder and harder not to.
