90% of time someone finds something problematic they are just not the target audience. Most of us see that certain book about shirtless werewolves and sparkly vampires 'problematic' - wether because a 17 year old girl hooks up with a hundreds year old, or because a woman not being able to give birth is shown as lesser, or because indian folklore is fucked with or because it's just plain creepy and weird. But i know girls who grew up team edwarding or team jacobing. They grew up normal. Got into healthy relationships, some had kids, some didn't and many changed their minds about the books as they grew up. But when they were young? It was what they loved - and that's okay. You might not like this game, or that anime or this book or that religion or this speech... but it doesn't mean that it's truly harmful.

Just wanna be clear. I do realize in the USA that the censorship movement against anime was indeed sparked by Tumblr feminists. However, many right wingers are concurring with these feminists, but for different reasons. (Muh degeneracy rather than muh sexual assault.)
