Flies are used as pollinator and due to these flies there is good seed setting. They are of good use.

While this will work short term, again, it is at best a band-aid over a gaping wound or a knee-jerk reaction to a situation they don't seem to understand. Flies are indeed great pollinators, but they are not even in the realm of bees. Plus you are still going to have to fix the overarching problem if the local ecology. These flies too will fail and die because of a lack of habitat to support them! You will be breeding flies in a lab to let out to work for 2 or 3 weeks only to watch them all die and have to be replaced! You are also going to have to buy specific flies depending on what crop you are growing because, just like bees and wasps, not all flies pollinate all plants. You are treating a symptom when you should be fixing the problem. Encourage bees to come back by giving them their habitat back. We need meadows, hedgerows, verges, small forests and open space for insects to exists and thrive. We also need to fix the public's idea that "weeds" need to be killed and removed from everywhere. Everything should be perfect. No.... Bloody well leave it alone! #Bees #Agriculture #Food #Ecology #Insects
