The Inadequacy of Sheep

The herd fears independent thought as such represents their inadequacy and brings into question their very reason for being. Or in other words, the sheep are happy to be sheep, but hate it when anything demonstrates that truth - as then they are faced with the fact that they are just slaves - livestock for the wolves herding them about.
