Booby-trapped arms caches 'are still hidden in Britain': Soviet agents placed weapons across Europe during Cold War Files compiled by KGB Major Vasili Mitrokhin, who moved to UK in 1992 His archive - revealed today - details several weapons dumps across Europe None mentioned are in Britain, but expert said they are almost certainly here. Prof Christopher Andrew added: He explained: 'Of course by now they would not be easy to find and it is unlikely the weapons would be serviceable.' It's very easy to preserve guns, knives etc. I guess this Prof.Andrew only said they wouldn't be serviceable so that people would not suddenly start searching for them, given their value on the black market.

This is a summary of every Roman settlement discovered by archeologists, placed on a virtual map - amazingly, the settlements trace the outlines of very familiar territory. The Romans literally created a pixel map with their settlements...

Few people know that Jews in Europe had very limited rights until the unification of the German empire in 1871. This should explain why Germany was considered as the most tolerant country on the planet, by 1900. They were not just leading in science, technology and industrialization, they had finally accepted to give Jews equal rights - which proved to be enormously beneficial for the country, as Jews turned out to be highly productive as entrepreneurs, scientists, lawyers etc. Unfortunately, their success generated a lot of envy - among the worst haters were university professors who resented that Jewish scientists managed to publish more and better research. The 20th century practically became the century of "Jewish physics", as the Nazis called the stunning dominance of Jewish physicists (Einstein, Pauli etc.) Instead of being thankful for their contributions, Germans turned on Jews under the Nazis, who idiotically blamed Jews for the defeat of Germany and the massive post-war poverty of the 1920s. https://israeled.org/unification-german-empire-leads-jewish-emancipation/
