The Philosophy of holes.

Whilst I've been sitting in quarantine in a Bangkok hotel - I've had some time time to myself - and started pondering the big questions. Why are we here? Do I exist? Do you exist? etc.... I've been looking into philosophy a lot. Whilst deeply cogitating I turned my attention to holes. We all know what they are - sometimes they are in the ground, sometimes they are in some swiss cheese. I started to wonder - do holes exist? You can move a hole, you can measure a hole but by its very nature, it is the absence of something. If the hole in swiss cheese is an absence of cheese - then why isn't my water bottle a cheese hole? After all most stuff is the absence of most things. So fellow minds users, I was wondering if someone could provide me with an accurate definition of a hole? I'm also interested in similar metaphysical conundrums. Thanks in advance - please help me stave off the boredom in my lonely Bangkok hotel existence. #philosophy #holes #metaphysics
