I've posted about this before... I'm not sure if this is just how Minds works, or if it's a bug, but tagging someone in the body of a post does not give them a notification. I *think* it used to work, but now I'm second guessing if it ever did. I finally reported the issue to Minds, to see if it is a bug or just how Minds works. If I get an answer I'll post it here.

#Writingcommunity, #readingcommunity, & #creativecommunity -- also, just those looking for fresh entertainment Dead End Drive's #Audiobook has just been listed on NetGalley and it'll be up until May 22nd. If you'd like a free copy, head on over for download and if you feel so inclined, leave it a review? The book's fun, but the audiobooks funner. The voice actor did the most amazing job, you can just imagine the different characters like you're watching a movie. Check it out! It will be available for purchase and request at libraries everywhere by the end of this month! And if you like him, I've got his Twitch page pinned to my profile! https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/book/222679

Here's my Goodreads review for Why Not Wichita by @petecatania. It's a fun book! Check it out! (Review copied below.) ------------------------------------------ Why Not Wichita reads like the first episode of a sci-fi comedy adventure serial, with all the action of this particular episode taking place in less than a day. The book is short enough to be a quick and entertaining read, with plenty of hints of more to come. (Who is pilot 7-10 and will he make an appearance in future episodes??) Miriam, the Ipan warrior at the center of the story, is extremely capable and full of confidence, but also able to laugh at herself and the situation. She's trying to get out of town for a vacation, but meets resistance from nine-foot transit droids, four-legged rotriever robots, a horde of giant mecha-birds, and more. There is even a twenty-person battle involving barf-batons(!) in the tight quarters of a train car--one of many well-choreographed and entertaining combat scenes (and probably the funniest one at that). I loved the details of this futuristic city and the vividly imagined mechs/droids/robots that Miriam encounters, as well as her weapons and gear (including jet boots and an electric sword!). A highly recommended, entertaining read. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3918521260?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1 #mindsauthors #amreading
