The conviction of Derek Chauvin is a great start, but it is just a start considering how infrequent it is. The fight must continue to hold police accountable for the unjustified killings of unarmed, and many times innocent, Americans.

The officer only worked just two months but made over $80,000. His income included a $70,000 severance package after dumping 13 rounds into an unarmed high school sports star #Flashbackfiles

Don't forget about the thousands of nameless faces that were forgotten about or never received even a quarter of the same media attention after being killed by police. Don't celebrate too much, the war is far from over, folks. #PoliceThePolice #PTP

Yesterday's conviction was wonderful, but we mustn't celebrate too early. Especially when this system still permeates corruption. The rarity in which police are held accountable for unjustified killings is outrageous!
