More of a break than I had planned between posts. Had to have my appendix out last week so my rate of posts is unlikely to improve any in the short term. Here's a photo I took in Thailand to fill the gap for now.
Another change of pace today. This is a photo of a clock I made from a slice of Douglas Fir cut using a chainsaw. It's about a foot in diameter (30cms) and the rustic vibe comes from the fact that I've only got handheld saws, sanders etc and it's as sophistimicated as I can make it.
A waterfall I photographed in New Zealand. At Taupo Falls on the North Island the river literally bursts from the side of a mountain (volcano). I remember the water in the river was about the clearest I've ever seen. Beautiful place.
