My wife's remaining grandmother died Monday, in Manitoba, after a particularly hard year for so many old folks. I'm glad we took the trip to introduce her to her great granddaughter, before the Maple Curtain descended. Grandma McCormick got a real kick out of Sparrow, and tried really hard to school me at pool. RIP.
