A dog's fur should be shiny and silky relative to their breed. Greasiness, odor, and dull hair is all due to kibble and cooked food diets. As a puppy you may not notice it so much, but as they age and their body isn't able to make up for the shity diet, the drag will become apparent. Fun fact, my dogs take on the smell of a broth made from whatever animal they are eating at the time. My favorite is when they eat a whole lot of pasture-raised chicken or turkey. It smells like chicken soup or Thanksgiving haha

Dogs are already set up to consume raw food, you don't need to process it for them. Some dogs who have being on kibble their entire lives from puppyhood will need a little bit of instruction on how to safely eat bones oh, but that is about the extent of it
