British Nursing Candidates Rejected as UK Govt Prioritised Cheaper Migrants: Think Tank Hundreds of thousands of native British nursing candidates have been rejected over the past decade, while the government made it easier to bring in cheaper nurses from abroad, a report from Migration Watch UK has claimed. The report, which was seen by Breitbart London, said that even during the Chinese coronavirus pandemic last year, over 23,000 British applications for nursing courses were rejected, despite the government offering 1,200 fast-tracked Health and Care Worker visas to foreigners during the same time.

Al-Asad Rocket Attack Targets US Troops, US Contractor Dies from --Uncle Sam's Misguided Children by Faye Higbee At 7:20 a.m. on March 3, a rocket attack at Ain Al-Asad air base in Iraq targeted US troops. An American Contractor suffered a “cardiac event” while sheltering and died shortly after. Between 10 and 14 rockets were launched at the base. It is widely believed this was in retaliation for Biden’s airstrikes in Syria last week against Iranian militias. A retired US Special Forces Twitter user stated: “In Iraq, officers & members of Army & Police arrested following today’s rocket attack on Ein al-Asad Base. Source say there was weakness in outside security checkpoints.” Note: IDF rockets mean Indirect Fire in this tweet. It has nothing to do with the Israeli Defense Force, which is often abbreviated IDF. John Kirby, Defense Dept spokesman, issued this statement on March 3: We can confirm that early this morning the air base at Al Asad in Iraq came under rocket attack. Preliminary indications are that approximately ten rockets were fired from points of origin east of the base. There are no current reports of U.S. servicemember injuries and all are accounted for. A U.S. civilian contractor suffered a cardiac episode while sheltering and sadly passed away shortly after. Iraqi security forces are on scene and investigating. We cannot attribute responsibility at this time, and we do not have a complete picture of the extent of the damage. We stand by as needed to assist our Iraqi partners as they investigate. Al Asad’s Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (C-RAM) missile defensive systems engaged in defense of our forces. Secretary Austin was briefed by his team and is closely monitoring the situation. We extend our deepest condolences to the loved ones of the individual who died. Defense.gov These rockets were reportedly “Iranian made Arash-4 type rockets, not Katyusha. The security forces also seized the vehicle in which the rocket launcher was placed.” (Clash Report) Last year, a rocket attack at the same air base caused about 100 service members to sustain head injuries. Ain al-Asad air base is primarily used by the US military. The attack comes just a couple of days before Pope Francis is set to arrive in Iraq. It is the first ever visit by a Pope to the country. He says he’s still going.
