We visited a #chopstick expert yesterday to get a pair for my four year old. I learned a lot. It turns out that #Japanese chopstick posture should be based on holding the dominant stick like a shoji brush, and that a child should not be corrected during the meal, but rather, reminded to focus on painting a perfect vertical line with a shoji brush. I learned that someone already taught my kid how to use chopsticks and the kid is pretty freakin' good at it.
