Two Cup Mantra...

In these dark times, one can become overwhelmed, stressed out, and overly frustrated. Making even the calmest and peaceful person you may know is ready to blast his neighbor into a fine powder. While even I feel this to be hard at times... I have found one way to help myself take back the calm for a few moments and then move forward with my day into the evening. Start with a hot cup of coffee... Hold it to your nose and take in a nice deep breath then let it out slowly and sip it till it's all gone. Clear your head of everything, then go to work. After the day is long spent and the most stressfully parts are done don't get a soda. Grab a hot cup of tea and as you did in the morning do so once more... Hold it under your nose and take a deep breath, then sip it till it's gone... These brief moments won't make all your problems go away. They will still be there when you are done. But for a few short moments there impact on you will loosen and your mind will be able to process it all better. Leaving you calm, clear, and ready to rest. And if you're so inclined a beer or two on Saturday will help when Monday starts it all over again... Do this each day... and twice on Sundays.
