Marketing and advertising is the absolute worst part of being an author. Bar none. Editing is hell, but marketing/advertising/PR work makes hell look like Disneyland.

Every book I publish costs at least $5,000 dollars. Copyright Office fees, software, book editors, advertising companies, etc. It cost a lot to publish books. I just think it's sad people don't see that and think we just magically sh*t out novels for free...

Even if you don't have the time to be a brand ambassador and you don't have the money to pay the artists/content creator/writer you like at least give em a Minds token. Those are free. With 1 of those he can find people who would gladly pay em!
