Every book I publish costs at least $5,000 dollars. Copyright Office fees, software, book editors, advertising companies, etc. It cost a lot to publish books. I just think it's sad people don't see that and think we just magically sh*t out novels for free...

Even if you don't have the time to be a brand ambassador and you don't have the money to pay the artists/content creator/writer you like at least give em a Minds token. Those are free. With 1 of those he can find people who would gladly pay em!

I'm not saying give your life savings to a content creator you like. If you enjoy something throw a dollar at it. A single dollar buys ramen for a day. I just am so sick of people thinking artists are entitled for wanting to get paid for their work.

Under A Mourning Star has sold over 5000 copies total since 2018. Out of that 5000 sold, and 15k given away if not more... 16 reviews/ratings on Amazon. That's pathetic. We need to do better for our content creators.
