A soldier spraying the interior of an Italian house with a mixture of DDT and kerosene in order to control #malaria during World War II, circa 1945. Considering the DDT effects and the fact that kerosene is flammable, perhaps it was safer to get Malaria? :) P.S. DDT effects on #health: human carcinogen, vomiting, tremors, seizures, liver failure, nervous system damage, birth defects and other reproductive harm etc. But the governments thought it was fine, so I guess that makes it all right then...(just like with convid vaccines). 🙄 #history #historythroughphotos Source: wikimedia commons
