Shocker. WorldCon is a pathetic and sad convention, with around 5k-6k attendees and shrinking every year, smaller than some entire panels at better conventions. This is a meaningless gesture of spaghetti-spined submission, classless and contemptible, and Toni Weisskopf and Baen Books deserve better. They are slumming it at WorldCon, and canny people know it.
