More from Dr Frank

Here she comes: Ann Althouse was looking for a rhyme for "infinite" and I was all, well, yeah, I got one right here, sort of: https://youtu.be/sJazg4yXXUo It's funny because while that rhyme is indeed imperfect, its imperfection arguably makes it better because it's unexpected and still basically works. I often complain about bad rhymes or non-rhymes, but I have no objection to creative rhymes, provided they "do the work." It's even better when it's actually the way it's pronounced conversationally, as here -- even (especially?) when it's such a silly conversation, as here. The other funny thing is, in whatever you call this little circle we are in, I'm actually kind of famous for this line, though it is of course known to absolutely no one outside it. In other words, I am "Dr Frank famous." A low bar, I know. post: https://althouse.blogspot.com/2021/02/imperfect-rhymes.html
