Not to mention that all that oil being demanded will have to be brought by truck and train ... meaning much more energy used to move it and more pollution created. Banning the pipeline had nothing to do with the environment - it's all about appearances and making oil and gas more expensive and profiting by investing in alternatives, then legislating (or E.O.-ing) to move the markets to favor their investments. Just more fascism folks. Nothing to see here.
