Men are playfully aggressive, insulting, with one another so if they're not busting your chops (among other things for being transgender) are they really treating you as a man? Women are critical of other women's appearance, behavior and flaws so if they're not cutting you down to size (among other things for being transgender) are they really treating you as a woman? There is a heightened sensitivity around transgenderism and sexual categorization by others as a therapeutic or psychic coddling / protection measure for those who suffer from gender dysphoria. The paradox arises when it is simultaneously bundled with a demand that everyone accept as reality a misrepresentation of the facts of the biological sex. If that demand were accepted, the previous condition could not be met. So a dissonance occurs- to both acknowledge that transgenderism is a mental affliction that causes suffering and should be met with compassion and that transgenderism is a normal human behavior that is equivalent to biological sexual differentiation- and should get equal treatment. #transgenderism #gender #wokeculture #postmodernism #zeitgeist
