Prosecution Demands Rittenhouse Be Re-Arrested and His Personal Address Be Made Public
KENOSHA, WI – The assistant district attorney prosecuting the case involving Kyle Rittenhouse has recently demanded that not only Rittenhouse have his new address publicly available, but also that he be rearrested for reportedly not updating his address in a timely fashion while out on bond.

As many are likely familiar with this case, Rittenhouse is facing a series of charges, including first-degree murder, for the shooting deaths of two individuals and wounding a third during the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 25th.
Back in August of 2020, we at Law Enforcement Today brought a detailed breakdown of the then-known case evidence along with speculation on how the case could be interpreted through an examination of the charges and laws relevant to those charges, which can be read here.
But in the latest update regarding this case, Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger asked the courts on February 4th to have Rittenhouse rearrested, increase his bond amount by an additional $200K, and have his address properly updated and publicly available for anyone to find online.
In response to these demands brought forward by the prosecution, defense attorney Mark Richards stated that his client has been the subject of numerous death threats and that having his newest address available to the public would present a danger to Rittenhouse.
To compromise on the matter, Richards would instead prefer to offer the courts Rittenhouse’s updated address – so long as the address remains sealed from public access.
ADA Binger brought forth claims that when Rittenhouse failed to update his address within 48 hours of moving, that the failure to do so was a violation of Rittenhouse’s terms of pre-trial release after having posted bond.
This isn’t the first bond-related debacle to have ensued following Rittenhouse’s release from jail, as back in January the prosecution wanted to modify the terms of Rittenhouse’s release to include that he be not allowed to associate with known extremists and consume alcohol.

When ADA Binger addressed the defense’s concerns over Rittenhouse’s safety and using it as a means to justify leaving his originally provided address, he alleged said actions also placed the current resident at his prior address in “jeopardy”:
“In essence, he put someone else in jeopardy to protect his own skin.”
Further commenting on the alleged threats, ADA Binger also claimed that all Richards has brought forth in terms of evidence is an anonymous email sent to his law office describing what might happen to Rittenhouse if he were ever sent to prison:
“This is hardly a specific, tangible and imminent threat.”
Richards found this claim by the prosecution to be disingenuous, noting that the prosecution has had access to Rittenhouse’s social media accounts that were flooded with threats within hours of the Kenosha incident occurring.
Also, Richards claims that there’s, “at least thirty-six other known pieces/categories of evidence [that] have not been provided to the defense,” that illustrates threats against the now-18-year-old Rittenhouse.
However, ADA Binger is attempting to wield sentiments of there being a sort of responsibility to inform the public of exactly where Rittenhouse is due to concerns that maybe victims, family members of victims, or even witnesses could be unknowingly living next door to Rittenhouse:
“He is, after all, charged with murdering two people and severely injuring a third.”
One must keep in mind that this is coming from the same prosecution that objected to Rittenhouse having attained bail back in November of 2020 – solely due to the fact that much of the bail amount was achieved via donations amassed through crowdfunding.
It's hard to take the prosecution in this case seriously, when it's the same folks who wanted Rittenhouse's bail denied because it was amassed via crowdfunding – a bad faith attempt in the era of not only crowdfunding – but also literal NPO bail funds.

The prosecution back in November of 2020 was trying to argue that since the funds didn’t come directly from the Rittenhouse family directly, then he shouldn’t have been allowed to walk free after having posted $2,000,000.
Obviously, that effort was unfruitful considering that in the era of not only crowdfunding, but also donation-based bail funds existing all over the country, it’s a bad faith argument for a prosecutor to suddenly demand that bail only be paid by the family of those accused of a crime.
Nonetheless, Rittenhouse’s next court appearance is slated for February 11th, where Circuit Judge Bruce Schroeder will hear from the prosecution on their latest requests regarding the status of Rittenhouse’s pre-trial release.

When someone succeeds, the first thing Wokes do is go try to find something, anything, to indict them over, going all the way back to their childhood if necessary.
Some people are safe from the pitchforks and torches — for now. But not as many as you’d think. Take New York Times science and health reporter Donald McNeil Jr. as an example. McNeil was just fired for violations against woke-ism, after a 47-year successful run at America’s top liberal rag.
Here’s what he said about the incident that led to his firing.
“On a 2019 New York Times trip for Peru for high school students, I was asked at dinner by a student whether I thought a classmate of hers should have been suspended for a video she had made as a 12-year-old in which she used a racial slur,” he explained.
“To understand what was in the video, I asked if she had called someone else the slur or whether she was rapping or quoting a book title. In asking the question, I used the slur itself,” he continued.
“I should not have done that,” McNeil wrote.
“Originally, I thought the context in which I used this ugly word could be defended. I now realize that it cannot. It is deeply offensive and hurtful. The fact that I even thought I could defend it itself showed extraordinarily bad judgement. For that I apologize,” he continued.
He UTTERED a word, he didn’t USE it. There IS a difference. And I mean that in the objective, literal, definitional and real sense. In Woke theology, there is no difference at all.
Speaking about the apology, writer Andrew Sullivan wrote that “This reads like a confession procured by the Khmer Rouge. It’s both ridiculous and terrifying.”
“It is now official NYT policy that for some words, intent does not matter, and it only takes one strike to sink a 47-year career,” said Reason editor Matt Welch.
Jesse Singal, formerly of New York Magazine, currently (controversially) of Substack, today re-upped an article written way back in 2017 about the state of affairs on the Woke Left. “The woke world is a world of snitches, informants, rats,” he says. “Go to any space concerned with social justice and what will you find? Endless surveillance. Everybody is to be judged. Everyone is under suspicion. Everything you say is to be scoured, picked over, analyzed for any possible offense.”
The article, titled “Planet of Cops“, was written by Freddie deBoer. Both of deBoer and Singal are liberal progressives. And yet…
The little army of snitches who have written to my employers and tried to divest me of my job. The self-appointed Twitter police — they’re in every subculture of that forum — who constantly start shit, DMing people to berate them for who they follow or whose work they boost, the ones who keep an oppo file on everybody, who try and regulate other people’s friendships. The ones who keep a big file folder of screen grabs, just waiting to play judge and jury. They’re cops.
That is exactly what so many of us, particularly here at Right Scoop, have been saying, which I said above: that they make their mission to seek out and destroy.

Climate ‘Official’ Says Gov’t Has to ‘TURN the SCREWS’ to ‘BREAK the WILL’ of Average Americans Over Emissions (Video)
David Ismay, Massachusetts Undersecretary for Climate Change (which is a real job if you can believe it) said in a video conference that it’s time to “break the will” of everyday drivers and homeowners over climate change.
He was arguing that they’d already cracked the spines of business and government, and that it just isn’t good enough, so it’s time to crush everyday Americans.
“I know one thing that we found in our analysis is that 60% of our emissions come from – as I have it started to say you and me, except you guys are in Vermont – 60% of our emissions come from residential heating and passenger vehicles. Let me say that again: 60% of our emissions that need to be reduced come from you, the person on your street, the senior on fixed-income,” he said.
“Right now there is no bad guy left, at least in Massachusetts, to point the finger at and turn the screws on and now break their will so they stop emitting,” he said, meaning there were no big offenders left to blame. Then he said who the next target is. The new bad guy. “That’s you. We have to break your will.”
Come on man. Seriously?
“I can’t even say that publicly,” he added. Yeah do you think not, pal? Well too bad because it’s public now.
