UK Chancellor ‘Concerned’ By Health Technocrats ‘Moving the Goalposts’ To Keep Lockdown Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer is “concerned” that health technocrats are “moving the goalposts” in order to justify keeping the country locked down, reports suggest. Rishi Sunak, technically the Second Lord of the Treasury — Boris Johnson is the First — but in practice the country’s chief finance minister, is reportedly keen to see the lockdown ease as soon as possible, as small business owners and workers buckle under the strain of a third national lockdown (and, for many, multiple rounds of punishing regional lockdowns).

Spain: Islamic State Orders Jihad Massacres at Churches The reconquest of Al-Andalus has always been high on the jihadist to-do list, right after the destruction of Israel. Now mass migration is allowing jihadists to come closer than ever to attaining their goal. “Daesh orders attack on churches in Spain and Santiago is again a potential target,” translated from “Daesh ordena atacar iglesias en España y Santiago vuelve a ser objetivo potencial,” by Antonio P. Fidalgo, El Correo Gallego, January 24, 2021 (thanks to the RAIR Foundation).

#france #marinelepen #islam Riding High in the Polls, France’s Le Pen Proposes Hijab Ban French far-right leader Marine Le Pen proposed a ban on Muslim headscarves in all public places on Friday, seeking to build on a record recent poll putting her almost neck-and-neck with President Emmanuel Macron. The hijab policy, which would be contested in court and almost certainly be ruled unconstitutional, saw the 53-year-old return to a familiar campaign theme 15 months from the country’s 2022 presidential election. “I consider that the headscarf is an Islamist item of clothing,” Le Pen told reporters at a press conference where she proposed a new law to ban “Islamist ideologies” which she called “totalitarian and murderous.”

#UK #ukmilitary #veterans #churchofengland Reverend Slammed for Declaring Clapping for Dead Veteran is ‘Cult of White British Nationalism’ A Church of England Reverend has been blasted on social media after he claimed that an organised ‘national clap’ in commemoration of a recently deceased World War Two veteran constitutes a ‘cult of white British nationalism’. The show of appreciation was organised for Captain Sir Tom Moore, who died aged 100 after raising £33 million pounds for the NHS in the UK. London based Reverend Jarel Robinson-Brown didn’t share in the sentiment, however, and declared that those clapping, which included Captain Moore’s family, are white supremacists.
