Belgium: Islamic Prayer Rooms Among 192 Entities Closed for Jihad Terror Links Since 2014 The latest news out of Belgium involves an “anti-terror project” that has been going on for the past six years but has just now come to light. The mainstream media over the last few years demonized the so-called “populists” of Europe for their attempts to protect their countries from Islamization. But now comes news that measures (which got scant attention in mainstream reports) were implemented in Belgium to attempt to crack down on the jihad. Belgian authorities have likely kept this initiative low-key in order to escape the “Islamophobia” battering ram. But now, it is no secret that it took the beheading of French teacher Samuel Paty to wake many people up to the grave threat of Islamization to the West. One need only look at the outcry throughout the Islamic world in response to Paty showing the Muhammad cartoons, followed by France’s defending its right to the freedom of speech. The crazed reaction indicates just how serious Islamic blasphemy laws are regarded by far too many Muslims. There is also other possibly encouraging news from the EU: France recently announced that another “radical mosque” was placed under surveillance, along with 76 others since December; while Denmark has announced a new immigration policy of “zero asylum seekers,” amid vows to crack down on “political Islam.” “Nearly 200 entities linked to terrorism have been identified in Brussels since 2014,” translated from “Pre’s de 200 entite’s en lien avec le terrorisme ont été recensées à Bruxelles depuis 2014,” La Dernière Heure, January 29, 2021.
