#Myanmar just had a coup and its military is backed by China; so the chance for Chinese influence on this isn't exactly out of the picture. Meanwhile, ethnic groups in Myanmar are against the coup, and the US doesn't know how to respond directly because of China. Meanwhile, the US is pretty much in a cold war state with China and North Korea, so any and all direct intervention is off the table; all while China and Russia are blocking the UN from making a statement condemning the coup. . . . Idk about you but I think it's time for Afghan War 2.0
