Truth vs Perception
Truth is objective, meaning it is not based on the perception of human beings. (Which is capable of wavering) Truth is simply that which is. It is that which has occurred in the past and that which is occurring in the present. Truth can be represented by an unwavering line:

PERCEPTION on the other hand can be seen as a frequency wave running along with the truth. The red example would be someone with a low perception of truth, and therefore a low consciousness of reality.
Someone with more consciousness of reality, has a higher perception of truth! As can be seen in green the frequency of times perception aligns with truth!
Those who are considered to be enlightened beings are more frequently aligned in their perceptions to the truth. And therefore a fully enlightened beings perceptions would be instinctual from the truth, and would have their perceptions fully aligned with the truth.

THE THREE STEPS
1. Recognize that there is a problem. Fear based denial of the problem must first be dealt with and conquered.
2. Recognize that symptoms are merely effects of under lying causes, therefore instead of treating symptoms, (as they do in the multi-billion pound medical and pharmaceutical industry) make an accurate diagnosis of the cause(s) of the problem.
Diagnosis
From the Greek preposition dig: “Through; by the way of”. And the Greek noun gnosis: Knowledge “By the way of knowledge”.
3. Through the knowledge acquired via accurate diagnosis, take action necessary to rectify the causal factors which led to the manifestation of the problem.
