In the center of the piece, The Amber Earth mother holds the Tree of Life in her hands. This Baobab tree stands tall before the African sunset, in the center of the mandala. The 24 lotus petals of the mandala represent the transformation of human souls towards self-realization. On the inner circle, the petals are decorated with hearts inside of hearts, love inside of love, and on the outer circle, the petals contain egg shapes, representing potential that is yet to be born. The mother sits among the flowering mountain laurel and between two hands, each holding a sphere of amber. On both sides, we find mirrored animal spirits, the cow, the unicorn and the white python. Painted in 2015, this was a commissioned piece for my friend Jackie. Thanks Jackie! I hope that all of your manifestations are appearing into your reality.
