I don't know if its because of parler's excommunication or something else, but its nice to see a bunch of original art popping up for once. There appears to be a couple comics too. Should be exciting.

Once again, I come bearing art with which I hope to overawe you, all the while expecting cruel, totally justified failure the likes of which can only be found in the concerted effort of multiple terrorist organizations to disillusion me. Their assassination's attempts failed you see and so they changed tactics, all in a desperate attempt to stop me from eventually going back in time and stopping them ( they're from the past btw) from ever forming to begin with. It's terribly complicated. Anyway, I digress. May i present the Sentinels of Umbras, the foot tall guardians tasked with protecting this steam drowned, horrifyingly macabre city from aerial threats. This drawing actually has significantly more than i initially intended. Like preceding drawings of the various umbrans, I thought a quick line-art would suffice only to finish that and realize I'd bungled it rather nastily. It didn't read very cleanly. So I added shading and then darks and lights. At that point the rest of the page began feeling noticeably empty and so I added buildings and the city scape. This last bit was fun, though. Gave me a chance to practice my smoke and steam. Unfortunately, I think i lost a rather key detail about the sentinels, namely the fact that they have gecko pads on their fingers tips. Not terribly important, but something that just helps the...otherworldly-ness that's so important to the umbran's designs. Ah well. I hope you enjoy and I'll leave ya'll with a couple links to the other drawings. www.deviantart.com/peace-in-vi… www.deviantart.com/peace-in-vi… www.deviantart.com/peace-in-vi… Fare thee well my future friends.

Continuing my recent spat of ridiculous industriousness, my I present my latest work to abuse and horrify your finely tuned senses. Just showing this around my town has resulted in numerous pending lawsuits, half a dozen restraining orders and no fewer than three heart-attacks. Just wait until I release the sequel. Future crimes against humanity aside, this is yet another character/species from our book 'The City of Locked Doors' . An Umbran by the name of the engineers, who glide about underneath the city itself, tending to the vast network of pipes and seeing to the upkeep of the giant furnaces that warm the city. The furnaces are also what cause the egregious amounts of steam on top of pushing water through said pipes, both of which have very particular reasons that are a mite complicated so we'll drop them into the 'mysterious and unanswered' bucket. #art #myart #fantasy #writing #spooky
