Blue Hill Fire Lookout, Alberta 🇨🇦
With an elevation of 6,515 ft, wasn't very easy trudging through 2-3 feet of snow for a good 9km. Definitely not meant for winter but we did it! I pulled a muscle in my hip 1.5km before the top. I kept going with little thought, I was so close. My hip felt like I'd put a dagger into it by the time I reached the top. It was a slow and painful walk back, literally dragging my leg. I couldn't lift my foot out of the deep snow. It was getting dark, and with all the sweat things got very cold. That feeling, knowing you can't stop, vital to keep moving when you just want to lay down. Nature doesn't care, it can, and will kill you. Stay safe out there! #myphoto #nature #beauty #art #photography
