You gotta remember, these people are ideologues and NOT capitalists. They don't believe in markets and they don't care about throwing away money for the cause. They will have no regrets. (It's actually an interesting form of market failure, when all the people with capital don't believe in it, nothing works properly)

I thought I was being spendy getting a "in need of TLC" 1979 Technics base model belt drive turntable a few years ago for $72, but looking at that video that Techmoan made on the £89 generic turntable from LIDL...
