Writers and creators of Minds, what is your current writing or storytelling project? Do you have any samples of that project to share on Minds or any other platform? When do you think this work will be ready for market, if ever, and what do you still need to do to get it there? (Art: "Space Pirates - Port" by Tom Garden.)

Does anyone know how to covert .kdp files to .epub files? I'm trying to leave Amazon and I need to switch the format of my ebook files to put them up on a new site. Thanks!

Writing community, what do you write, in terms of the size and structure of each piece? Whether it's novels, novellas, short stories, flash fiction, serial fiction, opinion essays, or something else, what is it you like about writing pieces of that type, and what do you think are the main drawbacks for you? Alternately, is there a format you've never been good at, and if so, why not? (Art: "Scifi Mushroom City" by Tarmo Juhola.)

Writers and Readers of Minds, when you're reading sci-fi and fantasy, what level of tech/magic exposition do you prefer to see? Every time a gadget or spell appears, do you want to know how it works, or would you prefer to know just enough for the rules of its use in the story to be clear? Just as an example, if you are reading a scene where a spaceship is traveling from one star system to another, and the author uses a scifi-ism like "Gravitic Drive" to describe its engines, do you want to know more about the design of this system? Do you want details about whether it's a reactionless drive, how it works, etc? When it was invented, how it compares to other drive systems? Or is that level of detail disruptive to your immersion in the story? (Art by Joseph Gunter.)
