New from the Mythoverse: Triple Crown

Coming soon, a look at the slightly more mundane side of the Mythoverse in a brand new serialized comic, Triple Crown. Triple Crown tells the story of Skip Sparks, a young hopeful race car driver and her quest to acquire the Triple Crown of Motorsport, which consists of victories at three of the most prestigious and challenging races in the world. Her father, Martin Sparks, was himself a legendary driver who fell just short of acquiring the Triple Crown when he was involved in a near fatal crash during the 2009 INDY 500, the final race he needed to win the title held by only one other driver in the history of motorsport. Skip was only seven years old then, but she knew well how close her father had come to his dream, and how cruelly it was cut short by an ill turn of fate. Skip, now an adult, is determined to bring glory to her family by completing the work her father began, through winning the three races needed to claim the Triple Crown in the name of her family team, SPARKS AMERICAN. It will not be easy. She must master three distinct racing disciplines, all at the pinnacle of their respective series. While she has the passion and the talent, and her father the decades of experience and connections, auto racing is NOT a Cinderella sport.

8 things I've learned about Minds over the past week (take with a grain of salt - I'm still learning): 1) Quote-posting truly starts a brand new thread. It's even harder than on twitter to follow a conversation if people do this as much as they did on twitter, so use it sparingly. 2) Liking (up-voting) and even replying is less visible to other users than on Twitter. So if you want your followers/subscribers to see a post by somebody else, use Remind instead or in addition. 3) Private groups can be used like twitter DM groups. The creator can invite & kick off people, but only people who are following them. 4) Public groups can be joined by anyone, so those are more like facebook public groups. 5) Creators can make membership tiers and hide certain posts behind a paywall right here on Minds! Like your own little Patreon/OnlyFans! 6) YouTube videos can be automagically mirrored here! I haven't done this yet, but I know it's a feature & just as easy to set up as BitChute for mirroring. 7) If you want to be verified, you have to pay for Minds+ (I think) and then just submit 2 other social media sites with your same handle that have links back to your Minds account. No need to submit ID or a selfie or anything like that. 8) There's an edit button on everything! Hallelujah, there's an EDIT BUTTON!!! More advanced stuff to come once I figure it all out! Welcome to Minds!
