It's sad that when people talk about the Trump and Parler thing; that is, being banned from all social media in a day, being banned from their own bank, or being kicked out of any relevant app and hosting service; they do it based entirely on if they like them or not, or agree with their ideas or not. When instead we should be focusing on the fact we are witnessing live what a cyberpunk dystopia would be, and they're cheering.
When it comes to this it shouldn't matter if you like or hate Trump or Parler.
We shouldn't cheer when discovering companies can basically banish someone from digital existance in a day.
We shouldn't cheer that companies can stop any competition using social justice as a shield.
I'm so tired that whenever i try to argue about some ACT being bad, everyone focuses on the SUBJECT of the act to decide if i'm right or wrong, and then just accuse me of being far right if the subject is someone they don't like.
I don't have to like them to be worried about it.
Just for doing my comic against censorship i've been called right winger or far right several times. And i'm here reflecting on how the fuck we have reached to the point that "being against censorship" and "worrying about companies having too much power" are far right positions..
