More from Dr Frank

Tastes like Bubblebath - from Mattia Neri on Insta: "LK134 The Mr. T Experience "Love is dead" MTX deserve the first post of my Lookout! Records gems list. Dr Frank was churning out pop punk songs before the term (or the concept) even existed. Try listening to One big lie or Disconnection from their 1986 debut album! Like a good craftsman, Dr Frank honed his chops with each record, culminating with this 1995 masterpiece. Some people argue that the follow up "Revenge is sweet... And so are you" is even better. I don't know and I don’t care. To me they're both great, but I chose this one because it came out first and it feels more classic, in a way. This album has it all: weird cover art, great hooks, awesome production and some of the best lyrics in pop punk ever. Dr Frank's level of wit and rhyming capabilities on here is something to behold. If I had to suggest a single Lookout! Records release to an outsider, it would probably be this one.
