The Landscape and Sound

Photograph: ©Nick Monk Nick Monk is a photographer from Tasmania, Australia. I admire the clarity of his photographs and have always found his works to be very stilling and energizing. I've never been to Tasmania, but it's on my wish-list. As are Uluru and Kata Tjuta, Kangaroo Island, Lake Mungo and the far far north. When I look at a landscape image such as this, it's as if I can be in touch with the energy of that space and the sound/s it sings.
