Merry christmas and extended holidays in the days to come before new years, as if corona wasnt enough ( i got confirmed yesterday,the day before christmas,that i too have the dreaded 'rona lol) I know there are a lot of people like me for whom the holidays are either lonely,horrible or both and just bring up old memories of broken homes,bad childhoods and maybe like me you hardly ever had a christmas celebration and new years was not much better in your life to begin with so its a dark period not just cause of the winter. Well heres to you all tough fuckers,ladies and gentleman. May you be merry again once the holidays are over! And to all of you who are having a good or are about to have a good christmas and holiday to you i say cheers aswell you all deserve it to be sure and i could not be happier to hear from some friends and far removed family who are actually having or about to have a great time! That makes me happy in a vicarious way i suppose. :) A poem, to whomever it may connect with. Really, it is not a poem but an excerpt from a book.
