See, when people stopped hating gays, those in power were no longer able to blackmail gay people in politics. So they were left with only the pedos (and worse, but we wont get into that now). And then they realized that they could just make the pedos, child abuse will do that, and then push them into power and have control of them the whole time. Dark passions are how you control someone even more effectively than blackmail, and the darkest passions, just like the most elevating of joys, are religious.
