this is only my second winter in this new house - last winter was mild - space heaters took care of my needs ...just found out that my thermostat is run on AA batteries instead of being hardwired replaced them and nothing happened LOL no fireplace or stove - looks like I'm opening the fucking oven and setting it to broil again! For those of you who've never had to DO this? Put cast iron skillets filled with water in the oven, too... it helps.
