Smart Dust And Nanobots Are Dangerous Nonotechnology is becoming even more compact and condensed with each passing year. Nanobots are being developed to combat viruses within the human body and airborne microscopic drones the size of a pin are in an early phase of development as well. Small nanobot particles known as smart dust that are capable of detecting any frequency of sound and spectrum of light might be dispersed across the world to monitor people's behavior. This is just as bad as satellites having the full capability to magnify any image on earth and to locate anyone anywhere. Yes, it can be used for good such as search and rescue, but it is bound to be used by forces of evil that will inevitably destroy the identity and dignity of humanity. Now imagine for a moment that these bots could be weaponized. Too many people fear that an engineered virus could be used by a global organization to reduce the human population. I for one, disagree. Even a fast-killing genetically engineered virus would take quite some time to kill a person. Weaponized smart dust, on the other hand, could kill people within minutes. Imagine if a world government hegemony came to power and felt as though the human race was too large in sheer number thus requiring some form of depopulation. War and famine are too messy. Chaos would still ensue if a virus were to be released. Instead, the overseers would simply spray these weaponized smart dust particles over cities and rural areas using benign-looking drones and aircraft. The nanobots would infiltrate billions of people's body organs and bloodstreams where they would remain dormant. All the tyrants would have to do is to simply flick a small switch on a major dashboard control panel to activate the nanobots. Said nanobots would then proceed to disrupt and shut down every major functioning organ in the human body. Imagine billions of people going about their daily lives only to freeze in unison, convulse in pain, and drop dead within a couple minutes. Imagine any political dissidents being assassinated using such methods. Voila, an evil agenda has been completed. This is certainly one of the most terrifying thoughts that plague me every day: the ability to kill billions with the flick of a switch. John Stewart ~ hbh@email.com minds.com/lovejoypeaceforever

GOD'S INTERNAL GLORY (2-minute study) "Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man" -Proverbs 8:4. All God's internal glory is summed up in his understanding, virtue and happiness. Now God's internal glory, is either in his understanding or will. The glory or fullness of his understanding is his knowledge. The internal glory and fullness of God, having its special seat in his will, is his holiness and happiness. The whole of God's internal good or glory, is in these three things, viz. his infinite knowledge, his infinite virtue or holiness, and his infinite joy and happiness. Indeed there are a great many attributes in God, according to our way of conceiving them: but all may be reduced to these; or to their degree, circumstances, and relations. We have no conception of God's power, different from the degree of these things, with a certain relation of them to effects. Holiness is love to God, and happiness is joy in God. But love to God is simply the broader term and refers to the esteem and regard that we are to have to God. When this is in vigorous exercise, as it should be, it is joy in God. Divine love, as it has God for its object, may be thus described. This the soul's relish of the supreme excellency of the Divine nature, inclining the heart to God as the chief good. God glorifies himself towards the creatures also two ways: (1) by appearing to them, being manifested to their understandings; (2) in communicating himself to their hearts, and in their rejoicing and delighting in, and enjoying the manifestations which he makes of himself. God's infinity is not properly a distinct kind of good, but only expresses the degree of good there is in him. So God's eternity is not a distinct good; but is the duration of good. His immutability is still the same good, with a negation of change. So that, the fullness of the Godhead is the fullness of his understanding, consisting in his knowledge; and the fullness of his will consisting in his virtue and happiness. "And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all" -Mark 10:44.
