I'm not playing this "Social Score" like crypto b.s. on this platform anymore. Anyone who wants to explain why I should, go ahead, but personally I've tried to get attention for my posts by boosting etc. and it's a waste of time, it's like work, but for what? To end up higher on a constantly elevating pyramid? Frankly, it makes me feel like gross. It's a scam, and that's why I see so many foreigners showing up with their bad English and even worse business skills/ideas. Then there's the embedded spies.... You'll see the exact same entities posting memes all boosted, and what does it mean? What the fuck does a meme tell me? It's cute, it might make me go, yeah, right on, well said, but in the end it does nothing. But they have to keep posting memes because memes get attention and attention gets you crypto and crypto is like money but it really only allows you to boost your memes so you can get more crypto...Blech! This is suppose to be a haven of "free speech", but they still censor, nobody uses their real names, and the big names who are here, Cullen, etc. don't even really post here, they just drop vids that they make for other platforms. Not one of my favorite content creators ever comes here to drop real stuff. And when they do, I have to mull through a shit ton of memes just to see it. I also detect manipulation of who gets the views behind the scenes. But I am not techy enough to understand all that am i? I've decided to keep my subs list limited from now on, I'll be blocking more businesses and any I.D.s that show up and have nothing on their wall but one or two memes. I have some favorite posters. People who are real, and they may not even post the best stuff, but they have hearts. I don't have much faith in this pay to play scheme and I don't have much value for a platform that favors those who can mine crypto rather than those who have the best things to say as judged by the people. Minds+? Yeah right? I can see where that would go by the crypto scheme they use currently and how it enables noobs to just splatter my feed with their sales pitch. The idea that I would pay for content on here, which, as far as I can tell is real low level stuff, is just a joke at this point. Normally I'd set up groups for people to hang out in, that's the way it's worked on sites in the past, but groups here are absolutely useless. I'll be deleting all of mine. I will treat this as what it is, a money making scheme, which will be turned over to the next handful of corporate employees once the first one's make enough money to move on. I'll try to make friends here, real friends, but it's gonna be tough. Yeah, I know, a bunch of bitching by someone who does nothing to help, doesn't pay for the site etc. But I'm cranky this morning and Minds has been bugging me for a while, so now I'm saying what I have to say. If I'm wrong, tell me. P.S. I'll be boosting the fuck out of this.
