This information below, is on Stats Canada's website, and is compiled from the actual death certificates of people who died COVID related deaths in Canada between March and July 31. Please click the link and read what the data has to say. Some main takeaways are - "There were fewer than fifty COVID-involved deaths among those under the age of 45." "In fact, 100% of the COVID-involved deaths of Canadians under the age of 45 as of July 31 had at least one other disease or condition certified on the medical certificate of death. The proportion of those with at least one other disease or condition decreases with age, ranging from 93% for those aged 45 to 64 to 89% for those aged 85 years or older." "the age profile of Canadians whose deaths involved COVID-19 over this period (54% were 85 years or older)" - My side note here, average life expectancy in Canada is 82.25 years. More than 50% of the dead had already lived at least 2.75 years longer than average. " long-term care facilities and retirement homes accounted for more than 80% of all COVID-19 deaths in the country." " Canadians aged 65 or older, who accounted for 94% of all COVID-involved deaths" This indicates - beyond any opinions of Twitter doctors or politicians - that COVID is not deadly unless you have a combination of pre-existing conditions, advanced age, AND the unsanitary living conditions that are present in almost all long term care homes. https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/45-28-0001/2020001/article/00087-eng.htm

I know I've been posting about my pendants a lot. Part of it, is - I LOVE pendants! When I used to work as a call center manager, I had to wear a suit and tie at work. I didn't really enjoy wearing a suit to work, but I loved how a nice tie could make a whole outfit pop. I ended up with a pretty big tie collection. But now that I don't have to dress in the standard corporate world uniform, I got into collecting pendants instead of ties. This is the most recent addition to my collection, an awesome wire wrap piece by Rachel Hopek. I just totally love the stone in it! It's like a mountain landscape on another planet. It sort of made me think of the mountains in JRR Tolkein's worlds. She has some gorgeous pieces to check out @ https://www.rainbowraedesigns.com
