*sigh* Guys and gals...seriously? Don't get me wrong, I understand the sentiment and I can appreciate your frustration, but this is just silly. Look around. Oregon is not the only state where urbanites disagree with the rural population. Check a county by county election map in ANY modern election. Blue cities, red everywhere else is what you're going to find in EVERY State. "Moving" your county to another State and shifting borders isn't going to change any of that. It's just going to promote even more division between the city slickers and the country folk. And if you think they ignore you now, wait until we divide up entire States into rural/urban. I mean, hell, they ALREADY ignore pretty much the entire Midwest because they think we're all uneducated hillbillies. Like it or not, cities are where the majority of the nation lives. You're going to have to engage with them. You're going to have to find ways to convince them that personal responsibility is superior to a Government baby sitter. You're not going to do that by running away from them because they don't listen. Sooner or later, you're going to have to stand up, get loud, and make them listen to you or it's never going to change. https://www.foxnews.com/media/rural-oregon-vote-secede-greater-idaho
