Hispanic vs Latino. When we say these words, we know what we are talking about. When we get technical, there is more meaning behind it. Hispanic is Spanish speaking. The Spaniards are the original Hispanics as well as the Spanish speakers of Equitorial Guinea in Africa. Latino/a comes from Latin, which is the language of Romans. Any language resulting from Latin are Latino. Languages like Portuguese, French, Italian, Romanian, etc are Latino. (this is not an SJW thing, just what happens when I think a lot)
