In Alaska, the underwater portion of icebergs tend to melt more rapidly than the part exposed to the air, and as a result the under-water part becomes less dense, causing the iceberg to flip. This is exactly what photographer Kelly King caught in this spectacular, late morning photo -- The shimmery glass-like underbelly of a flipped iceberg.
